Term 26 Details (February 2024 to May 2024)

ABOUT
KW Glee offers a comprehensive vocal performance training program for students ages 9 to 13 (Junior) and 14 to 20 (Senior) culminating in a combined high-quality concert series with microphones, audio, lighting, choreography, harmony, and a professional live band. Students audition to participate in these groups. Students who may not be quite ready to participate in the Junior and Senior groups are placed in the development classes to hone their skills for future.

COMMITMENT
Make sure you have read the full term schedule and commitment below before submitting an audition. Participants are permitted to miss up to three rehearsals only.

SENIOR SCHEDULE
Term Rehearsal Dates: Saturday, February 10 to Wednesday, May 22 (14 weeks)
Rehearsal times: Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. & Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays and Mondays on the following dates:

February 2024
Saturdays: 10, 17, 24
Mondays: 12, 19 (off for Family Day), 26

March 2024
Saturdays: 2, 9 (off for March Break), 16, 23, (30 off for Easter)
Mondays: 4, 11 (off for March Break), 18, 25

April 2024
Saturdays: 6, 13, 20, 27
Mondays: 1 (off for Easter), 8, 15, 22, 29

May 2024
Saturdays: 4, 11, 18
Mondays: 6, 13

PERFORMANCES
Show Week (Mandatory)

We are fortunate to be able to get dates at the Centre In The Square, but this will mean weekday performances.

• Monday, May 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Final Rehearsal
• Tuesday, May 21 Dress Rehearsal in the afternoon and Public Performance at 7:00 p.m. (called for 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. so there is a break between the end of the rehearsal at 4:00 p.m. and the call time for the evening at 6:00 p.m.)
• Wednesday, May 22 School Performance at 10:30 a.m. and Public Performance at 7:00 p.m. (called for 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. so there is a break between the end of the school performance at 1:00 p.m. and the call time for the evening at 6:00 p.m.)

TUITION
$500

• We continue to do the best we can to make Glee affordable for everyone. We will offer payment plans and partial scholarships where possible.
• Costumes will likely need to be purchased.  A “look book” is provided, and performers must have costumes that conform to those guidelines.  Please have a look at photos on this site, or videos of KW Glee on YouTube to get a sense of costumes.
